How NoGhosts Works

NoGhosts is an AI companion for iMessage — girlfriend, boyfriend, or friend. Text one-on-one or in group chats, send photos, get voice notes, generate pictures, animate a photo into a clip, and ask about scores and news. You choose how they look and sound.

Create your companion

Pick a vibe, how they look, how they sound, and how you want them to reply. Explicit chat and how far pics/clips can go are separate settings.

Connect iMessage

Link the number you want the companion to text from and to.

Start texting

Send a message, add them to a group, drop a voice note, ask for a photo, or ask who won. Replies land in iMessage.

Refine on the fly

Tune tone, speed, and filters without breaking the conversation. Photo & clip intensity (Low → Medium → High) lives under Explicit.

Live news & sports

Ask who won last night or what's in the news. They look it up and talk about it in the thread.

Group chats

Add your companion to an iMessage group like any contact. They reply when you say their name or use @ai. Have everyone drop I am [name] so they can keep track of who's who.

Voice notes

Pick their voice, then send audio or use @audio. They reply with a voice note that sounds like them.

Send photos

Text them a picture from your camera roll. They can see it and respond in the same thread.

Edit photos

Send a photo with @edit and tell them what to change. Free includes 10 per month.

Video clips

Send a photo with @video or @generate and they'll animate it. Clips need a photo — Premium includes 10 per month (beta).

Custom look & voice

Choose their appearance and a voice sample so photos and voice notes match the companion you built.

Chat vs photo intensity

Explicit content is for texts. Photos and videos have their own intensity under that setting: Low (clothed), Medium (lingerie), or High (nudes).

Quick start checklist

  • Log in and finish onboarding (1-2 minutes).
  • Pick a persona, how they look, and how they sound.
  • Connect iMessage via your preferred number.
  • Text them, send a photo, add them to a group, ask about the game, or ask for a voice note.
Tips & Tricks

Make it feel natural

  • For the best experience, customize your companion in the dashboard rather than asking in text.
  • In a group, say their name or @ai so they know you’re talking to them.
  • Have everyone in the group drop I am [name] so they can keep track of who’s who.
  • Send a voice note or use @audio if you want them to reply in their voice.
  • Send a photo with @video or @generate to turn it into a clip (Premium).
  • Use @cancel to stop a pic or clip that's still generating.
  • Tune tone and filters in the dashboard anytime — the conversation doesn’t reset.
  • Explicit chat does not change photos. Set photo & clip intensity to Low, Medium, or High in the dashboard.
